Photos of stolen jewellery released

Posted on 15th February 2017

We’re issuing a batch of photos showing jewellery that was stolen during a burglary at a house in Derby.

The items were taken by burglars who broke in through a door at a house in Stowmarket Drive, overnight between February 1 and 2.

Among the jewellery stolen was a pair of diamond earrings, a pair of gold squared earrings, and an 18ct gold diamond and aquamarine engagement rings with a large aquamarine stone in the middle surrounded by six small diamonds on either side.

Also taken was a Victorian gold heart locket with a small ruby and two diamonds, which was distinctive due to it being tarnished and having two stones missing.

Our officers have issued photos of similar items and want to hear from anyone who might have been offered them for sale since the break-in.

If you recognise the photos or have any information at all on the burglary, call PC Hayley Jones on 101, quoting reference 17000047458.
