Witnesses sought following attempted robbery in Sinfin

We’re investigating an attempted robbery in Sinfin where a man was threatened.

At around 9.45pm on Tuesday, February 14, a 66-year-old man was walking with his wife at the back of the Grampian pub in Grampian Way when a man approached them.

He threatened the man and tried to take money from his pocket before walking off empty-handed.

He is described as being about 6ft tall and athletic with a scarf across his face. He had a small, dark terrier-type dog on a lead.
