We are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched in the face during an unprovoked attack.

Sometime between 2am and 3am on Tuesday, December 27, a man heard a knock at the front door of a house he was staying at, in Beaufort Street, Chaddesden.

The 60-year-old answered the door to a man who punched him in the face before leaving. The man suffered a broken cheekbone.
