Jewellery and electronic items stolen in New Year burglary

Posted on 6th January 2017

We’re appealing for information from anyone who might have been offered items for sale that were stolen from a house in Derby.

The house, in Barnard Road, was burgled between the morning of December 30 and the afternoon of New Year’s Day.

It’s thought that the burglars forced open a window before searching the house and stealing a variety of items.

These included a Playstation 4 console with games, a Dell laptop, Dr Dre Beats wireless headphones in black, a white gold ring with a single diamond, and a Michael Kors rose gold watch with scratches on the strap.

We want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area between those dates, or might know who is responsible.

It’s also possible that the offenders might have tried to sell the items on, and we want to speak to anyone who has been offered any similar goods for sale since the New Year period.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call DC Luanne Heeley on 101, quoting reference 17000001412.

Alternatively, send her a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website www.derbyshire.police.uk/Contact-Us.

You can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
