We are appealing for information after a haul of jewellery was amongst items stolen from a house in Normanton.

Sometime between 12noon and 8.25pm on Monday, January 2, thieves smashed the glass pane on the door of property on Portland Street in Normanton, Derby.

Once inside, an untidy search was carried out and a large quantity of Asian gold jewellery and two gold Seiko watches were stolen. A PlayStation, Xbox console, and games were also taken by thieves.

We have released a photograph of some of the stolen Asian gold jewellery being worn, including gold necklaces, a nose ring, headpiece, Rami Har earrings and a variety of gold bangles.

We are asking anyone with information about the burglary, or who may have been offered the jewellery for sale, to contact the Volume Crime Unit on 101 quoting occurrence number 17000002156.
