Appeal for Good Samaritans who helped after alleged Sunnyhill robbery

Posted on 13th January 2017

We’re appealing for people who helped a man who had allegedly been robbed as he walked through the car park of a convenience store.

The 18-year-old victim had just left one of the stores at the junction of Stenson Road, Sunnyhill Avenue and Wellesley Avenue.

He was approached by three men who he said then robbed him of his iPhone 6 and an amount of cash.

They then left the scene in a black Volkswagen Golf.

The alleged robbery happened at about 7pm on December 11.

Although it’s been a month since the incident, we’re now appealing to hear from anyone who helped the victim or took down the registration plate of the Golf.

If this sounds familiar and you think you can help, please call DC Tarj Nizzer on 101, quoting reference 16000410413.

You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
