Burglary at former children's nursery

Posted on 17th January 2017

We’re appealing for witnesses after a disused children’s nursery in Glossop was broken into.

The building, in Kershaw Street, was formerly Wren Nest Nursery and Out of School Club and was burgled between 4.45pm and 5.15pm on January 8.

It’s thought that a group of youths were responsible for forcing open a gate and using a crowbar to smash open a door, before searching inside.

Our officers are asking for information from anyone who saw suspicious activity or knows who broke into the premises.

If you can help, call PC Dave Collier on 101, quoting reference 17000010669.

Alternatively, send him a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website www.derbyshire.police.uk/Contact-Us.
