Did you witness serious collision in Ripley?

Posted on 3rd July 2017

Our collision investigation unit is appealing to drivers who might have dashcam footage of a serious incident in Ripley to come forward.

The appeal comes after a 20-year-old man was hospitalised with serious injuries after a collision involving a silver Renault Clio.

It happened in Nottingham Road, Ripley, near the junction with Brickyard Lane, at about 8.30pm on Wednesday, June 28.

Following the collision, the 20-year-old pedestrian was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he remains in a critical condition.

As part of our ongoing investigation, we want to hear from drivers who were in the area around that time and might have recorded the collision on a dashcam.

If you can help, call DC Lauren Siddall on 101, quoting reference 17000273760.
