Sneak-in thief steals wallet

A thief has taken a wallet from a home in Hathersage.

Sometime between 8am and 2pm on Tuesday, July 4, a thief sneaked into a house in Hill Lane through an unlocked back door.

They took a wallet from a bag in the kitchen, which contained cash and bank cards.

We’re reminding residents not to leave doors unlocked, even when you are at home or in the garden.
