Volunteers launch You Tube vlogs to give an insight into their work

Posted on 13th July 2017

Our volunteers have launched a vlog to give people an insight into the work they do across the county.

The latest clip follows volunteers behind the scenes at a suspected cannabis farm in Littleover and shows them on a crime prevention patrol.Volunteer vlog - cannabis farm

Crime prevention officer Kate Bowyer said: “Our volunteers do a fantastic job and really enhance the work we do in the community.

“They’re an integral part of the policing family in Derbyshire and this new vlog showcases some of the great work they do.

“We will regularly post videos to our You Tube channel and I’d urge you’d watch them to find out more about volunteers and how they help police Derbyshire.”

The suspected cannabis farm was raided on Tuesday, July 11. Police officers were supported by police cadets, police support volunteers and members of Neighbourhood Watch.
