Appeal to the public for information after a man was assaulted in Derby

Officers investigating an attempt robbery are appealing the public for information.

On Friday, June 23 between 10.30am and 11am a man was sat on a bench on Harrow Street when he was approached by four youths.

One of the youths demanded that he handed over his phone. When he refused he was assaulted.

The youths ran off across the park. They were all described as wearing dark coloured clothing, was wearing gloves and hats and had their faces covered.
