Woman disturbs a man in her Derby home

A woman disturbed a man at her home in Derby.

The woman has told police that at around 1.40pm on Wednesday, July 12, she returned to her house in Stonebroom Walk and saw a bicycle by the gate.

She went inside and saw a man coming down the stairs. He walked past her and left, taking the bike and cycling off.

The woman believes the man sneaked in via an unlocked window. Nothing had been stolen.

She describes the man as black, aged 25-40, 5ft 3ins tall and very slim. He wore a burgundy hooded top and dark blue jeans.
