Detectives investigating the death of Murrey Paulson have released a more recent picture of him as part of their inquiries to trace the last people to see him alive.
A murder inquiry was launched on Wednesday, July 19 after the body of Mr Paulson (52) was found that morning at his home in Meynell Street, Normanton.
The investigation continues and we want to hear from anyone who saw Mr Paulson, or had any contact with him, on Tuesday, July 18 and up until 9am on Wednesday, July 19.
Detectives are piecing together Mr Paulson’s last known movements and the contact he had with people prior to his death.
This passport image is the second picture of Mr Murrey to be released; his family have already paid this tribute to him:“Murrey was a genuinely lovely person who helped anyone he could. He was always happy, smiling and we all loved him very, very much.”
A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of Mr Paulson’s murder. He is currently in hospital under police guard with an injury to his throat and will therefore be questioned in due course.
