We are appealing to the public for information after two men entered a house in Littleover and allegedly stole money.

On Wednesday, July 19 between 1pm and 4pm two men attended a house on Carlisle Avenue.

They told the elderly home owner that they were workmen and they needed to clear his guttering.

One man kept him talking whilst the other searched his house. An amount of cash was stolen.

One of the men was described as 50 years-old, 5ft 11ins tall with a large belly. The second man was white and younger than the other man.
