Appeal for witnesses after a man has wallet stolen in Derby

Officers investigating a robbery are appealing for witnesses after a man was allegedly assaulted and had his wallet stolen.

On Sunday, June 25 at 1.50am a man was walking along Green Lane when he was approached by two men.

The men demanded that he handed over his wallet. When he refused they assaulted him and ran off through St Peters churchyard with his wallet. They turned left and ran off along Green Lane.

One of the men was wearing a grey tracksuit.
