We’re asking for witnesses to come forward after a collision between a bicycle and a car that left the cyclist needing a metal plate inserting in his arm.
The rider was heading along Nottingham Road, Chaddesden, in the direction of Asda when a white Audi pulled out of Oregon Way and struck him.
He suffered injuries to his arm that needed surgery and the 38-year-old now has a metal plate inserted into it.
The driver didn’t stop at the scene and instead drove off in the direction of Spondon.
The collision happened at about 5.30pm on Friday, May 19. We’ve been working to identify the vehicle since then but have so far had no luck.
We are now asking for any witnesses or anyone who might have dashcam footage of the collision or Audi to come forward.
Do you know someone who drives a white Audi that may have had scuffs or damage to it around that date?
