Teenager robbed of his scooter as he rode along street

A 13-year-old boy was threatened with violence as he rode along a street in Chaddesden on his push scooter. Chaddesden scooter robbery - 17000241090

The victim was riding past the Travelodge and Aldi supermarket in Nottingham Road when he was approached by two youths.

They walked up to him and demanded that he hand over his scooter, before threatening him with violence and grabbing it from him.

They then rode off towards the 3 Chefs takeaway.

We want to hear from anyone who might know the offenders or passers-by who witnessed the robbery, which happened at about 5pm on Thursday, June 8.

We’re also issuing a photo of the stolen scooter and would like anyone who recognises it to get in touch.
