Man suffers serious head injuries following a collision in Hilton

We’re investigating the circumstances around a collision which saw a man suffer serious head injuries when his bicycle collided with a gate post.

The 77-year-old man was riding along Derby Road at Hilton at around 2pm on Wednesday, June 14 when the collision happened.

He was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious head injuries.
