Thief takes charity boxes belonging to local good cause

A thief has broken a shop window and stolen charity collection boxes from inside.

At around 3.10am on Wednesday, February 15, a man used a brick to smash the window at Sainsbury’s, Glamorgan Way, Church Gresley.

He then took two charity boxes from the till area, which were there to raise money for Charlie’s Voice, a local charity.
