Are you a keen photographer? Do you like taking photographs of the Derbyshire Countryside on your phone? If so, our Rural Crime Team wants to hear from you.

PC Andy Shaw and PC James Bowler have teamed up to help protect the rural and farming communities from crime as part of the Derbyshire Rural Crime Team.

Ahead of the official launch next Monday (Monday, March 13), PCs Shaw and Bowler are asking for your help in sending over your best photographs of the Derbyshire countryside.

The photographs will then be published in our new rural crime prevention booklet, and will also feature on our force website.

PC Andy Shaw from the Derbyshire Rural Crime Team said: “We are very lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful countryside here in Derbyshire, so we want to capture those photographs for use in our new crime prevention booklet, and we are asking for your help.

“If you have a photograph of the Derbyshire countryside, beauty spots, or wildlife, and you are happy for us to use them, please get in touch.

“Be sure to give your name and write where the photograph was taken so that we can showcase this in our booklet. We look forward to receiving the snaps!”

Can you help? If so, please send your snaps to the Derbyshire Rural Crime Team inbox (DRCT@Derbyshire.pnn.police.uk) being clear to state who took the photograph, and where it was taken. The closing date will be Monday, March 27.
