Officers investigating a burglary where high value jewellery and cash was stolen are appealing for information

Our officers were called to a house on Main Road in West Handley last night (Tuesday, March 14) at 10.15pm to reports of a burglary.

Three men allegedly attended the property at around 9.15pm and demanded that the occupants handed over cash and jewellery.

The occupants received minor injuries and required hospital treatment.

The men were described as, two white and one black man, all of which had Nottinghamshire accents and were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.

Detective Inspector Darren Pope said: “We are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Were you in the area yesterday evening? Have you seen anyone or any vehicles acting suspiciously in the area? If you live locally, do you have CCTV? If so, please contact us.”
