Posted on 16th March 2017

We are appealing for information after a haul of jewellery and cash was stolen from a home in Mickleover.

Sometime between 12noon and 3pm on Friday, March 3, thieves smashed the kitchen window of a property on Onslow Road, Mickleover.

Once inside, they carried out an untidy search of the house and made off with cash, including euros and US and Canadian Dollars, and a silver medal in a green display box. The medal was personalised with the Normanton Road College logo on.

A haul of jewellery was also stolen including a mother of pearl necklace, two diamante bracelets, and a bangle, ring, necklace and earrings made of Indian gold.
