Woman is injured after an attempt robbery in Derby

Officers investigating an alleged attempt robbery have issued an image of a man that they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

On Monday, March 20 between 12pm and 12.15pm an elderly woman was walking along Radbourne Street when a man on a bike approached her from behind.

The man tried to grab her handbag and the woman fell to the floor. The cyclist rode away empty handed.

The woman suffered a broken arm, bruising and swelling to her face and required hospital treatment.

The man was described as of a slim build and was wearing a light coloured hooded top with the hood worn up and dark coloured trousers.
