Man robbed in Normanton

A man suffered facial injuries when he was robbed in Derby.

Sometime between 5pm and 6pm on Thursday, February 16, a 48-year-old man was walking along Swinburne Street, Normanton, when he was approached from behind by a man.

The man hit him several times, leaving him unconscious. When he awoke, he found his cash, cigarettes and phone missing.

He suffered severe facial swelling and cuts and grazes.

He didn’t get a good look at the man who attacked him but saw that he was wearing a hooded top with the hood up.
