Huge thank you as cops and Villager Jim judge Derbyshire countryside snaps

Posted on 31st March 2017

Our officers from the Rural Crime Team would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who has sent in a photograph of the Derbyshire countryside.

Earlier this month, PCs Andy Shaw and James Bowler asked for you to send over your best countryside, beauty spots and wildlife snaps to be used in their new rural crime prevention booklet.

PC James Bowler from the Derbyshire Rural Crime Team said: “We are very lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful countryside here in Derbyshire, so we want to capture those photographs for use in our new crime prevention booklet and on our force website.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who sent a photograph in to us. We have been inundated with some fantastic photographs, so much so, that we have asked “The Banksy of the Photographic World”, Villager Jim, to help us judge.”
