Two bikes stolen in shed burglary

Posted on 5th May 2017

Have you been offered a Trek or a Boardman bike for sale in the last week?

We’re asking because two bikes were stolen by burglars who broke into a shed at a house in Addison Road, Derby.

The break-in happened between 11pm on April 27 and about 1.20am on April 28, with the thieves forcing the locked door and taking the bikes.

One was a women’s Trek Skye SL in green and white, which had a basket fitted to the front and black handlebars that curl up on the ends.

The second was a men’s Boardman road bike with a black, red and smoke grey frame. It had Zipp wheels and a black and white seat.

It’s possible that the burglars might have tried to sell on the bikes since the break-in and we want to hear from anyone who might have been offered one.

We would also like to hear from anyone who might recognise the bikes from the images and have seen them being ridden.
