Cigarettes stolen in convenience store break-in

Posted on 8th May 2017

Our detectives are appealing for witnesses to an early morning cigarette raid at a convenience store in the Derbyshire Dales.

The Spar shop in School Lane, Baslow village, was targeted by burglars who forced their way in through a door.

They then raided the cigarette cabinet and stole a large number of packets in the incident, which happened at about 1.50am on April 29.

Although it was an early hours break-in, we’re asking for anyone who was in the area at that time to get in touch if they saw anything they think might help.

If you can help our officers, please call DC Claire Laughton on 101, quoting reference 17000177360.
