Five people arrested and suspected drugs recovered following police raid

Five people have been arrested and suspected drugs recovered following a warrant at a house in Derby.

Officers from the Proactive Unit, Safer Neighbourhood team and Task Force raided a house in Rauche Court on Thursday, May 4.

They discovered what they believe to be heroin and Mamba and one man was found to be carrying a large amount of cash.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and money laundering. A 30-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

Three women, aged 27, 47 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with the intent to supply while a 35-year-old woman was voluntarily interviewed and reported for summons for the offence of possessing drugs with the intent to supply.

The five arrested people have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
