Four people arrested as part of joint police operation are released while inquiries continue

Four people, who were arrested in a police operation that travelled through three counties, have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

They were all arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle after allegedly taking televisions from a lorry at the services at junction 21a of the M1 in Leicestershire in the early hours of Tuesday, May 9.

A 23-year old man was arrested in Underwood in Nottinghamshire and two 45-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were arrested in Chellaston in Derbyshire.
