Shop in Gamesley is broken into

We’re investigating a break-in at a shop in Gamesley.

At around 2.20am on Monday, April 24, someone broke into the One Stop, in Melandra Castle Road. They triggered the alarm system and officers were dispatched straight to the scene.

They left empty-handed.

Witnesses have reported seeing a suspicious dark blue or black hatchback car in the area in the days before the crime.
