Man robbed in Linton

A man has been robbed by a group in Linton.

A 23-year-old man was in Main Street when a dark blue, five door Peugeot 307 – thought to be a model aged between 2003 and 2007 – pulled up alongside him.

The driver asked for directions before driving away. The car then approached the victim again and the driver and passengers demanded that he hand over his property.

When the victim refused, the men threatened him and ran after him. He fell to the floor and they assaulted him before taking his phone.

The incident happened between 4.30pm and 5pm on Saturday, April 29.

The driver is white, in his late 20s and about 6ft tall. He is of medium build and had blonde hair. He wore grey tracksuit bottoms and a yellow or orange striped t-shirt.

Both passengers are white men. One is in his early 30s, of medium build and about 5ft 6ins tall, He had short black hair and stubble. He wore grey tracksuit bottoms and dark grey top. The other passenger wore a dark green baseball cap.
