Posted on 23rd May 2017

We are appealing for information after a teenager was robbed of their bike in Alvaston, Derby.

Four teenage boys, who had mountain bikes, were on Field Lane, close to the junction with Shardlow Road, at around 11.50pm on Saturday, May 13 when they were approached by three men on a moped.

One of the men threatened one of the boys, and demanded he got off the bike. The victim gave him the bike and he rode off. The other two men made off on the moped, all three in the direction of Elvaston Park Recreation Ground.

A 19 year old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and questioned, but has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
