One of our detectives, who is investigating a burglary at a Chaddesden house, has released a picture of a distinctive item of jewellery taken from the break-in.

Last week, on Thursday May 4, between 8.45am and 11.45am, someone smashed the glass in the rear patio doors to get in to a house in Oregon Way, Chaddesden. Car keys and jewellery were stolen with the offenders driving off in the house owner’s black Peugeot 207 before abandoning it further down the road.

Amongst the items stolen were a gold ring with the word ‘NAN’ engraved inside, a gold bracelet with the word ‘DAD’ in diamonds on it and a 1 inch gold doll pendant, which is pictured.

If you have been offered any of these items for sale, saw anything suspicious last week or have any information regarding this incident please contact DC Adrian Harris who is investigating the burglary.
