Appeal after shop owner threatened by robbers

Officers are appealing for information after a robbery at Stenson Stores on Pilgrams Way, Stenson Fields.

The incident began when three men entered Stenson Stores at around 7am on Monday, November 6. One of the men threatened the shop owner, while the other two men searched the till area. The men then stole a quantity of cigarettes and a mobile phone.

A fourth man was seen waiting outside the shop and is believed to have been acting as lookout.

The men were all wearing dark coloured or grey clothing and had their faces covered.

Detective Constable Hayley Jones said: “We’re appealing for any witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen something. Perhaps you noticed something or someone suspicious hanging around? If you have any information that may assist in our enquiries please get in touch.”
