A man has been charged and another is under investigation following a shop robbery in Etwall.

Daniel Green (31), of Blakeley Lane, Etwall, has been charged with robbery and handling stolen goods while a 28-year-old Derby man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Mr Green will appear before magistrates in Derby today (Monday, October 2).

At 8.30pm on Wednesday, September 27, two men went into the One Stop Shop in Main Street and tied up a member of staff.

They then stole cigarettes and alcohol from behind the counter and took the till.

We released CCTV footage from the shop and want to thank everyone who contacted us with information.
