Detectives interview a man in connection with an assault outside a Derby restaurant

A man has been interviewed in connection with an assault outside the Red Chilli restaurant, in Littleover.

The 25-year-old, who is from Derby, has been interviewed on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

We were called to a report of an assault outside the restaurant, in Burton Road, at around 8.45pm on Friday, October 20.

A 45-year-old man alleged that he had been kicked and punched following an argument.
