CCTV images released following serious assault in a Derby bar

We’re asking the public to help us identify a man we want to speak to about a serious unprovoked assault at a bar in Derby.

The 51-year-old victim had been enjoying a night out in Derby and he went outside the City Bar, Albert Street, for a cigarette. When he walked back in, he was attacked by a man who head butted him in the face.

He was left with a bleed on the brain and a fractured eye socket.

The incident happened at about 2am on Saturday, February 3. Officers have been working to identify the man in the picture and are now asking the public to help.
