Man hospitalised after collision in Heanor

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a collision between a car and pedestrian in Derby Road on Tuesday, March 20.

The incident happened around 4.40pm when a grey Nissan Micra collided with a 66-year-old man. The man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Queens Medical Centre where he remains.

PC Julie Pearson said, “We would like to specifically appeal to any motorists who may have dash camera footage of this collision.

“However, if you have any information that may help our investigation, please get in touch on 101 quoting reference number 18000127791.”
