Appeal for witnesses to Glossop footpath assault

We believe a footpath connecting Dinting railway Station to the A57 in Glossop was the scene of an assault on Wednesday, February 14.

The alleged incident took place between 10pm and midnight.

The 30-year-old victim saw two men standing by a wall under the arches. They proceeded to attack him causing neck, arm and back injuries.

The men are thought to be taller than 5ft 7ins tall and to speak with Manchester accents.
