Takeaway delivery driver struck with skateboard and robbed

A takeaway delivery driver was struck with a skateboard and robbed in South Normanton.

At around 8pm on Sunday, April 8, a takeaway delivery driver dropped off an order in Lees Lane when he walked past a group of three teenaged boys.

One of the boys had a skateboard. The victim was suddenly struck, he believes by the board, and he fell to the floor.

When he got up, he realised his wallet had been stolen and the youths were gone. He suffered cuts to his hands.

He has described the boys as being aged around 15. The one with the dark grey skateboard was of mixed race, slim and around 5ft 8ins tall. He had dark hair and wore dark tracksuit trousers. Another youth had a bicycle. He is white, has short, dark hair and may have been wearing dark jeans. The third boy has dark hair.
