Witnesses sought after fatal collision in Hadfield, Glossop

Officers were called to reports that a runner had been in collision with a vehicle in Graphite Way, Hadfield, Glossop, just after 9am on Tuesday, July 31.

At the scene we found 72-year-old Neville McGraw, of Tavern Road, Glossop, with serious injuries he sustained after colliding with a Land Rover that was towing a caravan.

Mr McGraw was initially taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary but was then transferred to Salford Royal Hospital for specialist treatment. Despite the efforts of doctors he passed away.

Officers are now investigating the circumstances of this incident and anyone with any information; particularly dashcam footage from anyone driving in the area at the time, that they believe may assist us should contact Derbyshire police with incident numcber 18*360543 via one of these methods:
