Police and fire service investigating Swadlincote factory blaze

An investigation into the causes of a factory fire in Swadlincote is underway and we are appealing to the public for information.

At around 1.20am on Tuesday, August 7, reports emerged of a large fire at an industrial property on Occupation Lane in the Albert Village area of Swadlincote.

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service brought the fire under control and nobody was injured.

A joint investigation into the circumstances is now underway.
