We’ve released an image of a man we’d like to speak to in connection with an assault at the Stanhope Arms pub, in Ashby Road East, Bretby.

The assault is reported to have happened after a 66-year-old man intervened when he noticed a man urinating over the balcony at the Stanhope Arms.

An argument ensued and the man assaulted the 66-year-old by pushing him into a glass door causing minor injuries.

The incident happened between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on Friday, July 6.
