Officers want to speak to this man in connection with a theft and an assault at a Derby supermarket.

Two men attempted to leave the Sinfin branch of Sainbury’s on October 16 without paying for a number of items.

One man was detained by officers, however, a second man escaped after allegedly threatening staff with a needle.

Officers are keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident.
