We’re appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed in Derby.

The robbery happened at around 6.45pm on Monday, February 5 in Reginald Street.

The woman was walking along the street when she was attacked from behind and pushed to the floor by two men. Her handbag was snatched from her shoulder and the attackers ran off towards Arboretum Park.

The first attacker is described as: white, of medium build, around 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a dark-coloured hooded top, with the hood up, and dark-coloured straight legged jeans.

The second attacker is described as: around 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. He was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top, with the hood pulled up, and dark grey tracksuit bottoms with an Adidas logo by the right pocket.

The woman’s handbag was later recovered by our officers but a bank card, identity card and number of personal items had been stolen.
