Witnesses sought to alleged Ripley assault

We are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault on a man in Ripley.

The alleged victim was reportedly attacked by two men on Grosvenor Road between 9pm and 9.45pm on Wednesday, July 11.

It is reported that he was punched a number of times to his face and upper body.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on the night and released under investigation.

We would particularly like to speak to two men and a woman who assisted the injured man shortly afterwards.
