Witnesses sought to road rage assault

We are appealing for witnesses after a man was hospitalised by a violent road range assault in Inkersall.

At around 7.40am on Friday, June 1 – during the aftermath of a road related incident on Inkersall Green Road – the 51-year-old victim was approached and suddenly attacked by a man.

The attacker verbally abused his victim whilst striking him with a head-butt and multiple punches to the face.

Although a member of the public intervened, the man – who had been driving a blue Ford Transit – had suffered multiple facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
