Our officers are working with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service to warn people not to start deliberate fires in this period of hot weather.

On Wednesday, July 11 at around 7.30pm a fire was started on waste ground off of Great Northern Road and Stafford Street in Derby, at the back of the old railway building.

This follows a number of reports to fires in the area over the past week.
