Officers investigating alleged Littleover stabbing identify potential witnesses

Officers investigating an alleged stabbing in Littleover are appealing for two important witnesses to come forward.

At around 12.15am on Sunday, July 15, officers were called to Burton Road in Littleover to reports that a man had been stabbed.

On arrival, a man was found with a wound to his back and was taken to hospital.

Natalia Sawicka, 23, of Burton Road, Littleover, has been charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.

She appeared before magistrates on July 16 and was remanded to appear at crown court at a later date.

DC Sarah Parkin said: “We are keen to trace anyone who may have seen the injured man walking down the street or anyone that may have stopped and spoken to him.

“We believe he had a conversation with at least one man and one woman. We are very keen for them to come forward as potential witnesses.”
