Two arrested on suspicion of affray after Stenson Road fight

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray following an alleged brawl involving several people on a railway bridge.

Police were called to Stenson Road at about 7.15pm yesterday following reports that two cars had stopped and the occupants had started fighting.

The group made off but later in the evening, two men were treated at hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.

Two men – aged 20 and 21 – have now been arrested on suspicion of affray.

We want to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the incident and has not yet come forward, or anyone who has information about those involved.

Meanwhile, our officers will be carrying out increased high visibility patrols in the area and would welcome anyone who wants to have a chat with them.
